The true lover of knowledge is always striving after being... He will not rest at those
multitudinous phenomena whose existence is appearance only. -PLATO-

A little bit about myself
"My life the contradiction... It doesn't make me happy, it doesn't make me
sad... It just helps me understand." -Dave Serfozo-
My name is Dave and for many years now I've been trying to learn as much about
life as I can! I've always been interested in strange things: Things from love, monsters, to the horrors of war. Many,
many years ago I went through a few changes that helped me understand a little bit more about myself and why I've become
the person I am.
In 1998, I decided to end my career goal and love for special effects. After this I became interested
in writing, learning, and talking about people, religions, society, and everything else that's mysterious. From that point
on the way I looked at reality transformed and everything about this world became interesting to me!
The Changes

As a child I always had a passion for the creativity and power monsters had in horror movies. The movie that inspired me to
start special effects was Hellraiser. After that, I became interested in a band named Gwar. Gwar helped me realize that if
people decided to look down on me, I shouldn't conform to society just to fit in. They taught how I should always continue
to openly and honestly express myself without hesitation. When I was 18 I drove to Richmond VA to learn from Gwar. After that
I worked in Cleveland at a place called Monster Makers where I met the ordained minister and well respected special effects
chemist named Tom. Tom and I hit it off right away and he let me stay with him and his wife (that's also a minister
and a midwife) for a while at their home in California. Tom sat down with me for countless hours teaching and talking about
everything from religion, government, to similar subjects like that. On the flight back home, I chose to end my career goal
of becoming a special effects artist and decided to create the person I have become.

I can no longer deny myself, for I am an artist living a life based in the world of
philosophy. -Dave Serfozo-

enjoy philosophy, mythology, science, and writing. I love psychology more than anything, but after doing special effects for
countless years, I still have the passion to create and express myself while entertaining people.
